Snap-on’s new 10-piece 3/8-in. drive metric low profile ratchet/socket set with Dual 80 technology (210RAFM) includes the 80-tooth low profile ratchet (RAF80) and nine 12-point low profile sockets (8mm to 18mm). The system provides access to tight clearance areas with no loss of strength, the company said.

Bosch introduces BAT 110 battery tester

Bosch has added a new battery tester to its line up of diagnostic tools. The BAT 110 is a rugged battery tester that uses state-of-the-art conductance technology to provide quick and accurate, load-free testing of most types of 12V batteries, (including AGM, standard, and maintenance-free batteries) and can test batteries as low as 5.5 volts, its maker said. In addition to conductance technology, the tester incorporates a temperature compensation feature to aid in battery tests results that are extremely accurate, Bosch added.

Tracer offers new J2791-certified refrigerant leak detector

Tracer Products has unveiled the TP-9364 PRO-Alert 2791, an electronic refrigerant leak detector that the company said utilizes a state-of-the-art infrared sensor to accurately detect refrigerant leaks down to 0.1oz/year (3 g/year). Its three-position sensitivity switch minimizes false triggering and allows for easy diagnosis of small, medium and large leaks, according to Tracer. The unit is sensitive to R-12, R-134a and all other HFC refrigerants, and is certified to meet the new SAE J2791 standard for electronic refrigerant detectors, the maker added.

Rotary Lift introduces Mach 4 Plus runway system

Rotary Lift introduces the Mach 4 Plus, a new runway system for the Mach 4 mobile column lift. Once the system is connected to a set of four Mach 4 mobile columns, vehicles weighing up to 60,000 lbs. can be driven onto the runways and raised to a comfortable working height. Up to two optional 25,000 lb. capacity rolling bridges can be added to lift the vehicle’s wheels off the runways, enabling technicians to perform brake, tire and suspension service, the maker added.

Hella introduces new Module 70 compact LED 70mm work lamp

Hella, Inc., the North American aftermarket subsidiary of automotive lighting and electronics supplier Hella, has introduced its new Module 70 LED Work Lamp, which the maker said combines advanced solid state LED lighting performance with an ultra compact and highly durable design. It is designed specifically for use in tight or limited space conditions, and offers easy upright surface mounting. The 70mm work lamp is built to withstand harsh operating conditions, and is suitable for use in highway, construction, forestry equipment, as well as heavy-duty work truck applications.

Stertil-Koni announced that its mobile lifts are now being manufactured and are available for immediate sale from its Streator, Ill. facility.

Square Wheel Industries introduces brake and light diagnostic unit

Square Wheel Industries said it has introduced a faster, more efficient method of testing the trailer light and air brake system that can easily be fit to mobile service trucks. With the Express Mobile, all lighting functions and the air brake system (including brake adjustment) can easily be checked in just two minutes, start to finish, the company said. An isolation valve on the unit allows leak down tests on individual air valves. This can translate into inspection of 20 trailers per hour, including set-up, disconnect and all walk time, Square Wheel added. The unit has a radio remote-controlled air brake operation in addition to a complete built-in electrical system scanner.

Gray Manufacturing introduces re-designed wireless portable lift system

Gray Manufacturing Co. Inc., a maker of portable lifting equipment, has introduced its new WPLS family of mobile wireless technology column lifts. The WPLS-150, WPLS-180 and WPLS-180M (Military) will replace the WPLS-160.

OTC introduces three new composite bearing race and seal driver kits

OTC, an SPX Brand, has released three new Stinger bearing race and seal driver kits (P/N 4408; P/N 4409; P/N 4507) that are said to simplify the installation of tapered bearing races and seals on vehicle applications without causing damage to the component or housing. Consisting of various size discs and drive handles, the kits are designed to fit precise manufacturing diameters in order to give technicians the versatility needed for the job, while offering mechanical strength and durability.

Bendix launches Wingman ACB adaptive cruise control for commercial vehicles

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is introducing Bendix Wingman ACB − active cruise with braking. It delivers warnings and proactive interventions to help drivers avoid collisions – and data to help with fleet operations and driver training, Bendix said. Using a radar sensor mounted to the front of the vehicle, the system assists the driver to maintain a set following distance between their truck and the forward vehicle.

StobeWise offers added seconds to brake light warning

StrobeWise is a new product that helps in collision avoidance and rear impact defense. Produced under license from TransSystems by SoundOff Signal, StrobeWise can provide up to 10 seconds of additional warning time over and above brake lights to following vehicles, thus warning them of a slowing or stopping vehicle that has yet to engage the traditional brake lights.
