PPG offers new low VOC polyurethane enamel
PPG Commercial Coatings has introduced its AUE-120, a high-solids, low-VOC, interior polyurethane enamel. The new coating offers an array of competitive advantages over other high- and conventional-solids products, including increased productivity at lower applied costs, according to PPG.
The new enamel provides a textured or smooth finish for a variety of manufactured items ranging from business machines and computer cabinetry to industrial machinery and more. The coating is easy to mix and apply and is available in white, black or any custom color. It delivers outstanding mar and abrasion resistance and is suitable for hiding surface imperfections such as grinding marks and weld seams, PPG said.
Snap-on introduces Workhorse MIG220 welder
Snap-on’s new Workhorse MIG Welder (MIG220) features a high duty cycle, which offers extended weld times at a higher amperage setting. In addition, the same internal design methods used on the company’s Muscle MIG series were used in this unit.
The new welder features a maximum setting of 220A and a duty cycle of 60% at 180A — enough power to weld 5/16-in. in a single pass, according to Snap-on. Additionally, it offers 12 MIG settings and four TIG settings, all copper triple-insulated transformer windings for extended duty cycle and performance, and silicon steel laminations bolted and insulated for high efficiency.
Trico distributes new heavy-duty wiper guide
Trico Products, a manufacturer of wiper blades and systems, announced the distribution of the TRICO 2009 Heavy Duty Wiper Products Application Guide.
