Thermo King launches T-1000 Spectrum multi-temp unit

Thermo King's new T-Series line of temperature control units for straight trucks, the T-1000 Spectrum, is a self-powered multi-temperature unit with the latest in scroll compressor technology, according to the company. The unit features fuel efficient engineering, electric standby operation and 2,000-hour service maintenance intervals with EMI-2000.

Thermo King launched the latest unit in the all-new T-Series line of temperature control units for straight trucks: the T-1000 Spectrum. The T-1000 is a self-powered multi-temperature unit with the latest in scroll compressor technology.

According to the company, the unit delivers the following features:

• Fuel efficient engineering for greater fuel economy in all ambient conditions, hauling fresh or frozen.
• SmartPower electric standby operation, which reduces engine running hours.
• Advanced fuel-saving control technology with the new TSR-2 control system.
• Thermo King’s longest truck unit warranty.
• Longer, 2,000-hour service maintenance intervals with EMI-2000.
• Tier 4 engine emits 38% less particulate matter and 54% less carbon monoxide than previous engine.
• SmartPower electric operation.
• Whisper technology and an advanced scroll compressor for quiet operation.
• Scroll compressor offers improved reliability and has 87% fewer moving parts.

Thermo King says all T-Series units have been put through the most rigorous testing program in the industry over the last five years. The units are backed by the Thermo King dealer network. Customers can see their local Thermo King dealer for more information.
