Mudguard releases second generation mud flap

Mudguard Technologies launched a newly designed aerodynamic mud flap. V-Flap II’s features include vanes on the front and back of the mud flap, rounded corners, improved air-flow design and extra mounting holes to accommodate special mounting for single wide-base tires. The new design improves aerodynamics, increases spray suppression, improves structural strength and is compatible with single-wide tires and angle brackets.

“With zero percentage return and defect rate of V-Flap mud flaps, V-Flap II will come with 100% performance guarantee and lifetime warrantee against workmanship,” said Tarun N Surti, president of Mudguard Technologies. “We look forward to building existing relationships and gaining new customers with a superior design at an affordable price.”

According to Mudguard Technologies, the benefits of the V-Flap II include:

  • Improved aerodynamics and only aerodynamic mud flap designed to work with single wide-based tires;
  • Improved hydrodynamics to reduce spray and splash;
  • Vertical vanes that prevents curl-up and easily dislodge snow and debris;
  • Improved structural support on the front and backside of the mud flap;
  • Designed to work with angle mud flap brackets, both regular and shortie;
  • Stronger seven mounting holes to accommodate different mounting configurations;
  • All corners are rounded including 3-in. rounded corner at the bottom;
  • Has interlocking system to accommodate desirable stacking during transportation/storage;
  • Lightweight;
  • Manufactured in the USA.

The V-FLAP II is available in three different sizes:

  • 24-in. x 24-in.
  • 24-in. x 27-in.
  • 24-in. x 30-in.

V-Flap II is the successor to the V-Flap, which was introduced in 2010. For pricing and ordering, e-mail [email protected].
