Features of its XL Series sliding vane pumps can improve overall efficiency and performance in lube oil applications, according to Blackmer, a manufacturer of positive displacement and centrifugal pumps, and reciprocating compressor technologies.
The company noted its XL Series pumps are constructed of ductile iron that will withstand sudden thermal shock and stress. All models also are fitted with replaceable casing liners and end discs that allow easy rebuilding of the pump. XL models are available in 1.25-, 1.5-, 2-, 3- and 4-in. port sizes with capacities from 5 to 345 GPM.
