Spectra Premium introduces 13 heavy-duty truck radiators

Spectra Premium released 13 new radiators for heavy-duty trucks, covering Freightliner, International, Kenworth trucks, as well as Bluebird/Carpenter buses. The coverage also extends to late-model trucks such as the 2013 Freightliner Cascadia Series.

In addition to being engineered, developed, and validated in their Canadian facilities, these 13 aluminum radiators are also manufactured in their Laval plant in Quebec, Canada. Said the company, certain design improvements were performed, such as the redesigning of the OE mounting structures allowing a thermal expansion in the Spectra Premium radiator, which will eliminate tube-to-header leaks.

The radiators also undergo rigorous product validation including thermal cycling tests to simulate thermal expansion and real-time operating conditions, to meet the rigorous demands of the North American trucking industry, noted the company.
