Stemco starts production of Goodyear air springs products

Stemco has begun production on Goodyear Air Springs for the first time since buying out the manufacturer. The company has announced the continuation of the Super Cushion and Spring Ride product lines under the Stemco name.

Stemco recently acquired the manufacturer of Goodyear Air Springs from ContiTech, taking over the Super Cushion and Spring Ride lines of truck, trailer and truck cab suspension products, and cab seat springs. Also included in the acquisition were the Veyance manufacturing facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the Veyance research and development operations in Fairlawn, Ohio, and all NAFTA related patents and applications.

In a press release, Stemco said that it intends to keep the products up to the same quality standards and continue the brand’s reputation for reliability.
