Rassini receives Masters of Quality Award from Daimler

Rassini, a Mexican industrial company engaged in the design and manufacturing of suspension and brake components for the automotive industry, has received the 2014 Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). It is the highest award Daimler gives to its suppliers.

Rassini provides front taper leaf springs and rear suspension airlink ‘Hockey Stick’ components used on Freightliner Cascadia vehicles. Rassini’s performance record enabled the company to achieve the award in its first year supplying Daimler.

“It’s an honor to receive this prestigious award from a partner who’s so well-respected in our industry,” said Eugenio Madero, president of Rassini. “This is a direct reflection of the hard work and talent that our team brings every day, and it shows our discipline and continued dedication in advancing both product and process, while maintaining a competitive cost structure to support our customers.”

Rassini is the world’s largest producer of suspension components for light commercial vehicles, and recently expanded its suspension offerings to include leaf springs for the North American Heavy Commercial Truck market, after previously only serving South America’s heavy truck industry.
