Anderson Power Products has introduced the SBS Mini, the newest and smallest DC power connector in the SB product group.

“Users of our Powerpole 15/45 often stack together two connector housings to create DC quick-disconnects for their battery powered devices such as Ham radios, remote control airplanes, and emergency equipment,” said APP Product Manager Michele Moon. “SBS Mini simplifies the assembly process by offering a one-piece housing that holds two Powerpole 15/45 contacts.”

Sacrificial contact tips designed into all SB and Powerpole connectors enable hot swap capabilities on DC circuits. The low resistance Powerpole contacts accept 20 to 10 AWG (0.75 to 4.0 mm²) wires allowing up to 52 amps of UL rated performance per position.

Anderson recommends the SBS Mini for applications including UAVs, emergency equipment, and portable power storage and generation.
