ConMet recognized by PACCAR as standout supplier

Consolidated Metco (ConMet) has been recognized as a top performer by PACCAR as a part of the truck manufacturer’s Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Program for 2015. The SPM program evaluates a supplier’s performance in the areas of product development, operations support and business alignment with PACCAR objectives.

In a press release from PACCAR, Bill Jackson, the company’s vice president of global purchasing, explains the significance of recognizing its suppliers: “Quality, technology and innovation are cornerstones of PACCAR’s success that enable the company to deliver outstanding products and services to our customers worldwide. Our suppliers play a critical role in each of these areas.”

“We are proud to be considered one of PACCAR’s top suppliers,” said Mike Miga, ConMet’s vice president of engineering, molded products. “We take great pride in our product quality and customer service.”

ConMet’s molded products supplied to PACCAR include aluminum castings and interior plastic components such as instrument panels and cabinets. ConMet also supplies PACCAR trucks with wheel hub assemblies, brake drums and disc brake rotors. ConMet’s casting division was singled out in particular by PACCAR.
