Marangoni introduces wide-base precured splice-less retread

Marangoni Tread North America has announced the introduction of the first ever wide-base precured splice-less retread for concrete mixers that run 425/65R22.5 and 445/65R22.5 tires. The Ringtread MIX400 is suited for all Concrete Mixer applications where superior traction, durability and reliability are required, the company said. It features wide open shoulders in order to keep them clean from stones, mud and water. It is non-directional, with no retread markings and the Marangoni logo on the tread. The Ringtread MIX400 is produced with the newest Marangoni Concrete Mixer compound.

Freightliner celebrated a milestone with the production of the 1 millionth Freightliner Cascadia—which Daimler Truck North America says is the first Class 8 truck in North America to reach the seven-figure mark.

DTNA says the Cascadia started as an idea to develop a truck with new aerodynamic, lightweight, and uptime-improving features has since evolved through four generations of the platform. Since its original introduction, DTNA says the Cascadia has improved its fuel efficiency by more than 35%.
