Eberspaecher releases Hydronic S3 Economy engine pre-heater

Eberspaecher has released its new Hydronic S3 Economy (5kW) engine pre-heater. This is the third generation of the Hydronic series, which offers stepless heating power control and works with all popular types of fuel, according to Eberspaecher. The design offers an encapsulated fair motor, separation of hot and cold components and an electronically commutated motor. Additional features of the new pre-heater, according to the company, include:

  • Compact dimensions and flexible installation options;
  • Water spigots that are fully rotatable by 360° and are fully replaceable;
  • Optimized brackets that enable the pre-heater to be mounted anywhere in the smallest possible space and can be attached quickly for ease of install; and
  • CARB approved.

The heater is permitted to be installed and operated on all heavy-duty, diesel-fueled vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 14,000 lbs. and all diesel-fueled commercial motor vehicles with a GVWR of more than 10,000 lbs.
