TODCO celebrates 60th anniversary, announces oldest working door contest

TODCO, a division of Overhead Door Corp., is celebrating its 60th anniversary.  To help celebrate 60 years in business, TODCO is searching for the oldest TODCO roll-up door that is still in operation and on the road today. The winner will receive a check for $1,000 and a new TODCO door in exchange for the original door so it can be placed on display in TODCO’s R&D department. Those interested can email photos, door serial number and contact information to [email protected] by July 31. The winner will be announced and contacted by Aug. 31.

TODCO began in 1957 in Hartford City, Ind., and relocated to Marion, Ohio, in 1962, where products are still manufactured today. TODCO has a second factory in Tecate, Mexico that was relocated from Fresno, California in 2008. TODCO manufactures dry freight and insulated roll-up doors, dry freight swing doors, walk ramps and aftermarket parts and products with distribution world-wide.
