Meritor WABCO earns New Flyer Industries 2016 Supplier Delivery Performance Award

Meritor WABCO received the 2016 Supplier Delivery Performance Award from New Flyer of America Inc., which is presented to suppliers of New Flyer production facilities with an overall on-time performance level of at least 95% or higher. This is the fourth time Meritor WABCO has been given this award. Meritor WABCO has supplied pneumatic anti-lock braking (ABS) systems to New Flyer for more than 15 years.

“Meritor WABCO is proud to have been selected once again as a New Flyer supplier award winner,” said Matt Stevenson, Meritor WABCO’s president and general manager. “Receiving this elite award for our performance during 2016 reflects the commitment of Meritor WABCO employees who are dedicated to providing our customers with industry-leading technologies, service and operating performance.”

“The on-time delivery for 2016 reached 98.3% for all suppliers on the scorecard system, which is the highest level achieved since the start of the supplier assessment program,” said Rod Neustaedter, vice president of supply management for New Flyer.
