It’s one thing to order brake pads from your parts supplier and install them on a vehicle. It’s another thing to see how they’re actually made.

In this video, DIY YouTube star Chris Fix visits an NRS Brakes factory so you can see the process for yourself. The new line of Galvanized NRS Brake Pads features mechanically attached friction on a galvanized steel backing plate. Galvanized NRS brake pads will prolong the life of brake pads and improve safety, according to NUCAP, manufacturer of the NRS line. Mechanical Retention has been specified by OEMs on many medium- and heavy-duty applications.
