Virtual sessions for service operations owners featured at HDAW ’21

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week ’21 conference organizers have announced details around the show’s “SOLD!” (Service Opportunity Learning Day!) education workshop.

SOLD! is geared towards owners and managers of service operations and independent distributors offering service, HDAW says. The goal of the SOLD! program is to help the independent service owner and their top managers gain access to information and resources designed to help them run a more profitable business.

Every SOLD! session is led by industry experts and will include a live Q&A segment with the presenter. Three SOLD! sessions will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 26 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. EST. Areas being covered include operations and training, leadership, financial metrics and shop profitability, and marketing and sales related topics.

The following sessions and industry experts will be offered, as described by HDAW:

  1. An Introduction to EOS, Entrepreneurial Operating System” presented by Ian Tonks, certified EOS implementer, traction trainer – This SOLD! session will outline key business components that all businesses need to be successful, including timeless principals that can benefit any entrepreneur.
  2. Using Financial Metrics and Dashboards for Profitability” presented by Jacob Findlay, chief executive officer and founder of Fullbay – What metrics does your shop track? What are your target efficiency rates? Are they the industry average? Learn what systems will allow your business to collect the data needed, how to report to all of your key stakeholders, and how faithfully tracking these metrics will improve your bottom line.
  3. Online Marketing Tools to Grow your Business” presented by Brie Anderson, owner of Beast Analytics – Current market conditions have accelerated the need for online marketing and business-building strategies. Anderson will address the most effective marketing tools and strategies to help your shop affordably and comfortably transition to a more complete online marketing presence. This segment is a can’t miss for all distributors – regardless of number of service bays or mobile units you operate.
