Hyliion Holdings Corp. has appointed two new senior vice presidents to the company: Matthew Loos as senior vice president of marketing and Bobby Cherian as senior vice president of sales and supply chain.
Loos, who will oversee the company’s strategic marketing initiatives, comes to Hyliion most recently having been vice president of marketing and sales effectiveness at Terminix. In this role, he developed new product and service lines that resulted in record new unit sales across existing and new customers and successfully initiated a reposition of the brand and its digital platforms, the company says.
Prior to this role, Loos worked at Bridgestone Americas, where he held various roles of increasing responsibility across the organization’s multiple business units, including Bandag, Bridgestone Commercial and Firestone Building Products. At Bridgestone, Loos was responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy for their commercial truck and bus new tire division.
Cherian, who will oversee Hyliion’s sales and supply chain functions, including sales strategy, as well as building customer and supplier relationships, comes to Hyliion having most recently been the senior director of electrification and North America OEM sales for Dana’s commercial vehicles business. In this role, he was responsible for driving the growth of electrified powertrain solutions at Dana, including establishing commercial relationships with OEM and fleet customers. Prior to this role, Cherian oversaw the global commercial vehicles purchasing organization at Dana, where he was responsible for delivering critical cost savings initiatives, supply chain strategies, and developing key supplier relationships, Hyliion says.
