Alta eMobility to service, distribute BorgWarner DC fast chargers

Alta eMobility recently announced an agreement with BorgWarner to service and distribute direct current fast chargers (DCFCs) as part of its long-term goal to provide fleet, workplace charging, and retail customers with a one-stop shop for electric charging solutions.

Manufactured in the U.S., BorgWarner offers DCFCs that can handle a range of vehicles. Alta eMobility is expected to secure over 350 chargers over a two-year period.

Alta eMobility is currently located in 15 states and Ontario and Quebec in Canada. The Alta eMobility team and technicians can install DCFCs in any state in North America or province in Canada, using its partners and BorgWarner’s telemetry platform. Alta eMobility says it can monitor their chargers remotely and provide data to better understand status, usage and optimized charging time, as well as educate users on the importance of keeping their EVs charged.

Double Coin and CMA unveiled two new tires for airport ground support equipment (GSE) applications: the REM-26 steer and REM-4 drive tires. The company said each tire’s key features allow maximum endurance in the GSE environment.

“Working with some of our key partners, we found the robust REM-26 and REM-4 designs will offer excellent performance in this segment,” Tony Cresta, director of product management at Double Coin, said. “These new releases offer Double Coin customers a specialized product for the increasingly important GSE segment.”
