CarriersEdge releases 2024 Best Fleets list

CarriersEdge releases 2024 Best Fleets list

The Best Fleets program aims to recognize companies providing drivers with exceptional workplace experiences.

To be considered for the the CarriersEdge 2024 Best Fleets to Drive For program, for-hire carriers in North America operating 10-plus tractor-trailers were nominated by a current company driver or owner-operator. CarriersEdge then evaluated the fleets across a range of categories, including compensation, benefits, HR strategies, operations, professional development and work/life balance. Finally, each fleet collected surveys from drivers to measure the work satisfaction.

CarriersEdge scored all questionnaire and survey results to identify the top performers. Fleets with the highest overall scores are recognized as Best Fleets to Drive For, while fleets receiving the distinction for 10 consecutive years (or 7 consecutive years plus an overall winner award) are inducted into the Hall of Fame.

According to CarriersEdge, the top 20 Best Fleets to Drive For in 2024 are (in alphabetical order):

The Hall of Fame took that even further, with all 10 of last year’s Hall of Famers requalifying through a range of innovative programs and driver supports.”

Along with the top 20 and hall of fame fleets, five honorable mentions—or as CarriersEdge calls them, “Fleets to Watch”—were also named:

  • Ippolito Transportation, Inc. – Burlington, ON
  • Magnum Companies, Ltd. – Fargo, ND
