Alliance CVHD Program honors Gorilla Brake with H-D Hauler Award

The award recognizes a heavy-duty channel partner that goes above and beyond with customer support, quality products, and effective fill rates for the Alliance CVHD program.

The Alliance Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty (CVHD) program announced Gorilla Brake/MAT HD as the 2023 CVHD Heavy Duty Hauler award winner on Dec. 5, at the Alliance Winter Shareholder Meeting in Aventura, FL. The Heavy Duty Hauler award recognizes a heavy-duty channel partner that goes above and beyond with customer support, quality products, and effective fill rates for the Alliance CVHD program, according to the Alliance.

Gorilla Brake accepted its award in front of a crowd of 500 attendees comprised of Alliance shareholders and channel partners. Through their support and dedication to the Alliance’s Perfect Stop Heavy Duty brand, Gorilla Brake has proven to be a responsive and impactful partner who makes every effort to be a valued collaborator, the Alliance said.

“We at Gorilla Brake are truly honored to receive the Heavy Duty Hauler Award, and I have to admit, it took us by surprise,” said Dan Duganiero, vice president at Gorilla Brake/MAT HD. “The dedication and hard work from the Alliance make it clear that we are positioned for long-term success. This award is a testament to our commitment, and we are excited about the future of the CVHD program at the Alliance.”

Presenting the award on stage to Gorilla Brake was Eric Johnson, president of Arnold Motor Supply, Mike Ritchie, category manager undercar at the Alliance, and Mario Gonzalez, the Alliance CVHD program manager.

“Dan and his team offer exceptional support in the field, with a commitment to training and a collaborative spirit that makes them invaluable collaborators to our CVHD Program,” said Mario Gonzalez. “Congratulations to Dan and his team on this special recognition.”
