A new video that evaluates TX Series Sliding Vane Pumps versus imitation versions in a variety of lab tests has been releases by Blackmer, a manufacturer of positive displacement and centrifugal pump and reciprocating compressor technologies. The video shows results of lab tests that company says will educate truck pump buyers on quality and performance problems associated with knockoff pumps. The video can be viewed on to Blackmer’s YouTube channel at “TX versus Knockoffs.”
TX Series pumps with Blackmer’s sliding vane design self-adjust for wear and to maintain flow rates, while also providing self-priming and dry run capabilities. Blackmer TX Series pumps are available in 1.5-, 2-, 2.5-, 3- and 4-in. port sizes with flow rates from 10 to 500 GPM and pressures up to 125 PSI. Options for the pumps include Buna or PTFE O-rings, pneumatic relief valves, hydraulic motor adapters and strainers.
