Bostrom Seating has introduced a new Wide Ride Core seat for class 7 and 8 trucks. Bostrom is a division of Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. According to the company, the benefits of the new Wide Ride Core seat include:
- A 23-inch wide seat cushion, cushion extension and front and rear cushion tilt;
- A new optional ‘Smart’ seat memory switch that enables drivers to quickly exit the vehicle by deflating the seat and upon returning to the seat, inflating it; and
- A new color option, Saddle with Ultraleather or genuine leather.
Patrick Miller, the president of CVG’s global truck & bus division, said, “We are excited about the launch of Wide Ride Core. This new seat will extend our popular Wide Ride II product platform into additional vocational and regional applications.”
