Davco introduces Fuel Pro 499 for Class 8 trucks

The company says its latest diesel fuel/water separator was designed to increase filtration capacity and reduce fleet downtime.

Davco Technology introduced its new Fuel Pro 499 model diesel fuel/water separator for Class 8 trucks, which it says increases diesel fuel filtration capacity by nearly 70% when compared to previous models, leading to both improved engine protection as well as better uptime due to less frequent service requirements. Additionally, DAVCO tells us the Fuel Pro 499 was designed to provide in-operation return fuel heat to benefit vehicles operating in extreme weather conditions.

Davco tells us the Fuel Pro 499 uses its “Seeing is Believing” technology to provide drivers with the ability to see when their fuel filter needs to be replaced, reducing maintenance cost and downtime. Additionally, Davco says the model features Elemax technology which forces fuel to the lowest point of unused media area to optimize efficiency.
