Dayton Parts has introduced a variety of new products for the heavy-duty aftermarket, including an EGT sensor, EGR cooler and wiring harnesses.

Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor

Dayton Parts says that EGT sensors frequently seize in the exhaust bung, making replacement difficult and damaging the bung. This repair solution includes a sensor, new bungs, weld-on plates, zip ties, and a bung repair kit, just in case.

Fits: Kenworth T800 2007-06, Kenworth W900 2007-06, Peterbilt 379 2007-06.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler

The company says this cooler is engineered to match the fit and function of the original EGR cooler in specified trucks.

Fits: Crane Carrier Company 2016, Freightliner 2017-13, Mack 2017-14, PACCAR 2017-14, Volvo 2017-13.

Wiring harnesses for Cummins ISX engines

The company says these harnesses were designed to match the fit and function of the original harness on specified applications, in the case that the original harness is missing, failed or damaged due to corrosion. Two varieties are available for different year models of Cummins ISX engines.

Premier Manufacturing recently announed the celebration of its centennial anniversary. The brand was founded by Dewey Weiss in Portland, Oregon, producing a pintle-style coupling for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The brand is now a part of High Bar Brands.

Premier Manufacturing has grown from a small business in Portland to its current location in Tualatin, OR, where it produces couplings, drawbar eyes, dolly jacks, hinge assemblies, and front-end assemblies. Premier adds that it has long focused on innovation, evidenced by nearly 50 mechanical patents granted during its first 100 years in business. Five patents remain active, and all five were granted within the last ten years.
