EnerSys highlights Odyssey Connect battery monitoring system at TMC 2024

The company says the system sends battery state of charge and state of health to your phone through Bluetooth.

EnerSys, the manufacturer of Odyssey batteries featured its Odyssey Connect battery monitoring system at the TMC 2024 Annual Meeting. EnerSys says it engineered the Odyssey Connect to actively monitor and track battery health and performance data, adding that it captures and records battery charge and health by monitoring voltage and temperature status through cranking and other events. According to EnerSys, warning and safety notifications can be sent directly to customers Apple or Android smart device through Bluetooth.

“The Odyssey Connect monitoring system can analyze battery operator parameter history to enhance productivity and deliver uninterruptible power for a lower total cost of ownership,” said Dave McMullen, senior director of global marketing, transportation and specialty at EnerSys.

In addition to the Odyssey Connect, the company also displayed its line of heavy-duty Odyssey batteries and chargers at TMC.
