With Dye-Lite TP-3100 fluorescent dye, technicians can add a small amount of dye to petroleum-based fluid systems, allow it to circulate for several minutes and use a high-intensity Tracerline ultraviolet or blue light lamp to pinpoint oil leaks.
Kenworth T680 earns EPA SmartWay designation
The new Kenworth T680 model has received the U.S. EPA’s SmartWay designation. It features an aerodynamically sculpted full-height roof, optimized bumper and hood, full-height side extenders, cab/sleeper fairings, closeout panels, chassis fairing extenders, and flush-mounted lighting.

Truck-Lite’s new 5×7-in. version headlamp uses 2 LED arrays and a complex reflector to create smooth, even light output and a clean, streamlined appearance. The lamp’s multi-volt design works with both 12v and 24v systems.

Peterbilt has received accreditation for developing the industry’s first SmartWay designated alternative fuel vehicle. Its Model 386 liquefied natural gas (LNG) truck, equipped with a fuel efficient, aerodynamic package, is suited for a variety of applications, including line, bulk and tanker hauling.

Truck-Lite has designed a user-friendly website that provides answers to frequently asked CSA lighting questions, as well as onsite customer training materials, since the company said two of the most common roadside inspection failures are lighting and conspicuity.
