Triangle offers lightweight replacement spring for Mack suspensions
Triangle’s lightweight replacement for the Mack camelback leaf spring provides fleets with a savings of approximately 216 lbs. per vehicle without sacrificing performance. The replacement spring was field tested on a variety of vehicles, including front- and rear-loading refuse trucks, roll-offs and dump trucks.
Ridewell adds new suspensions to RAR-260 trailer suspension family
Tall mounting height, 25K capacity, overslung RAR-260 suspensions are now available with weld-on and bolt-on hangers. The bolt pattern for these suspensions is compatible with industry standard bolt-on patterns. The company also added tall mounting height 30K weld-ons and a high-travel 30K overslung.
Investment group purchases Reyco Granning Suspensions
Private investment group MAT Capital, an affiliate of MAT Holdings Inc., has purchased Reyco Granning from Tuthill Corp. Founded in 1924 as Reynolds Manufacturing Co., Reyco has been designing and manufacturing suspensions systems for over 85 years.
WABCO air disc brakes available on Meritor trailer suspensions
Meritor WABCO’s single piston PAN 22 Series air disc brake is now available on three Meritor trailer suspensions. With the new Meritor integrated weld on the axle’s torque plate, an aluminum hub, flat style rotor and axle ratings up to 23,000 lbs., the air disc brake model has become one of the lightest disc brake packages available today. At 79 lbs. including pads, the PAN 22 weighs less than any other air disc brake in its class, according to the company.
