Peterson adds ECK corrosion prevention to safety lighting line

Peterson Manufacturing Co. added Electrolysis Corrosion Kontrol corrosion prevention products to its vehicle safety lighting line. The coating prevents dissimilar metal corrosion of all metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, cold-rolled steel and black oxide. The formulation incorporates zinc powders to create a lasting barrier against the corrosion that occurs between dissimilar metals such as aluminum and steel. This barrier absorbs the energy from any electrochemical reaction, preventing corrosion.
