Rislone, the company that invented the “tune-up,” now offers Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner with Upper Cylinder Lubricant.
Super-concentrated Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner with UCL is a complete fuel system tune-up, the company said. It combines a unique blend of additives to clean and lubricate the entire fuel system and protect the engine. A key ingredient is Rislone’s UCL, which lubricates the fuel system, starting in the fuel tank and fuel lines, where it helps prevent rust and corrosion. It also lubricates and protects the fuel pump for longer life and quieter operation, Rislone added.
UCL alos lubricates the injectors, allowing them to work more efficiently. It removes cylinder deposits, including gum and varnish, and as the UCL treats the upper cylinder, a lubricating film is formed that helps prevent carbon from sticking so that it can be burned off. This film completely lubricates the upper piston, rings, guides, valves and seats, the maker said. Continued use of Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner in every tank of fuel offers full-time lubrication, reducing friction, wear and excess heat. It also reduces carbon build-up that can cause pre-ignition, power loss, burned valves and broken rings, Rislone added.

High-performance cleaner with UCL can be used with all gasoline, ULSD diesel and E85 Flex-Fuel engines. It works with all unleaded, oxygenated, reformulated and bio fuels. It will not void any vehicle manufacturer’s warranty, the company stated.
It is available in several sizes: a single-use 6-oz. bottle (p/n 4701), 32-oz. bottle (p/n 4732), 5-gal. pail (p/n 4701-5) and 55-gal. drum (p/n 4701-55). Standard dose is approximately 3 oz. ounces per 10 gal. of fuel. The dosage can be doubled for vehicles with known fuel lubrication problems. Rislone Fuel Injector Cleaner can be added with every fill-up.
