VMAC adds a quality engineer to its roster

Sandra Amador has joined VMAC as a quality engineer. According to the company, for almost two decades, she has invested herself in becoming a highly skilled and qualified quality engineer and quality auditor. Amador’s role is a new addition to VMAC, which the company says illustrates its commitment to quality and efficiency, and highlights its growth.

Amador will oversee day-to-day quality assurance tasks such as ISO 9001 compliance, the strategic planning and delivery throughout the organization of VMAC’s Continuous Improvement program and Lean systems, as well as streamline and simplify VMAC’s company-wide documentation processes.

Previously, Amador spent 12 years with Praxair Canada as quality standards and validation manager. Throughout her years there, she was responsible for ISO registration, re-certification and compliance, conducted all duties of a quality assurance field manager, trained employees in change management and much more.

“VMAC is not only a highly successful and innovative company, but it is also impressively committed to quality and continuous improvement,” said Amador. “I was particularly fascinated by the egalitarian culture that moves this organization, or should I say, this family team.”
