Wabco announces winners of social media campaign

Wabco announced the winners of its global “#MyTruckStop” campaign. The five winners were awarded iPad minis.

Truck drivers and other members of the global commercial vehicle community submitted hundreds of photos of their favorite truck stops via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #MyTruckStop. Responding to this call, participants captured snapshots of their daily lives linked through truck stops across the world. All entries received were entered into the prize drawing to win one of five iPad minis.

“Truck stops are a central hub for truck drivers all around the world, and the success of our ‘#MyTruckStop’ campaign helped to celebrate the vibrancy and essential role of these communities,” said Nick Rens, president, Trailer, Aftermarket and Off-Highway Division at Wabco. “We were amazed by the levels of response and diversity of images that we received. From the hustle and bustle of Japan, to a back drop of the New York skyline, it was great to see drivers giving us real insights into their lives on the road. I’d like to express thanks to everybody who contributed to our ‘#MyTruckStop’ campaign.”
