Ram reveals 2021 ProMaster

Ram Commercial revealed its 2021 Ram ProMaster, aimed at vocational use, at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.

Ram says the full-size van is designed for businesses, construction job sites and commercial fleets. New for 2021 and making its debut on an FCA vehicle, Ram says, a digital rearview mirror option with a 9.2-in. wide LCD monitor is available to replace the traditional rearview mirror. The digital rearview mirror displays video in real time from a rear-facing camera and can be turned off to revert to a traditional reflective mirror. This digital rearview mirror is available on all ProMaster models.

Ram says Crosswind Assist is now standard equipment on all 2021 Ram ProMaster models to help the driver keep the vehicle stable. The company adds ProMaster now offers several other safety options including blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning with active brake assist. Ambient/courtesy lights are available when packaged on all ProMaster models and enhances lower interior lighting with LEDs.

The 2021 Ram ProMaster is available in 18 different wheelbase and roof height configurations and features the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. All ProMaster models come with a front-wheel drive system, Ram says.

The company says pricing will be announced closer to when the vehicle is available later this summer.
