There is no scrappage requirement, and additional funding is available for charging and fueling infrastructure.

Ethero Truck + Energy announced that it is now a California Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) approved dealer. The CORE is a $273 million voucher incentive project meant to encourage California off-road equipment users to purchase or lease currently commercialized zero-emission off-road equipment, including Ethero’s Lonestar Specialty Vehicles terminal tractors inventory.

This streamlined voucher incentive project helps offset the higher cost of zero-emission technology with a point-of-sale discount, and according to the company, there is no scrappage requirement, and additional funding is available for charging and fueling infrastructure and for equipment deployed in disadvantaged communities.

Ethero offers sales and service of Nikola Corporation trucks and Lonestar Specialty Vehicles in California, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and West Virginia. Additionally, the company is a Mid-Atlantic franchised dealership for Nikola battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
