ACT Research to launch new expanded forecast report in 2024

The expanded forecast, NA CV Outlook Plus, will feature an annual decarbonization market update, longer-term production forecast and more.

ACT Research announced that it will be expanding its forecast, the North America Commercial Vehicle Outlook, with the addition of a quarterly report to release in January that will provide longer-term, regular production forecasts of battery and fuel cell electric and natural gas vehicles through 2040.

According to the press release, the expanded forecast, NA CV Outlook Plus, will feature:

  • An annual decarbonization market update report
  • Market dis-aggregation by power-type
  • Longer-term production forecast through 2040
  • Quarterly updated BEV, FCEV, and NG production forecasts

Additionally, the company notes that the report will provide updates on:

  • OEM, private, and for-hire fleet zero emissions targets
  • OEM product offerings
  • Up-to-date regulations and subsidies impact
  • A wheel-to-well comparison across BEV, FCEV, and NG
  • Trends, product, and infrastructure developments across BEV, FCEV, and NG ecosystems
