FleetDrive 360, Abbott partner to address FMCSA regulations

The companies plan to offer a fast method of scheduling drug tests and 72-hour results returns while maintaining compliance with FMCSA regulations.

FleetDrive 360, a provider of cloud-based solutions for managing driver qualifications and compliance, announced a partnership with Abbott that will provide carriers with a fast method of scheduling drug tests and 72-hour results returns while maintaining compliance with FMCSA regulations, the companies note.

“Our integration with Abbott creates a connection for carriers between the lab services provided by one of the nation’s largest connected networks and the FleetDrive 360 compliance solution,” said Nic Salis, chief operating officer at FleetDrive 360. “Offering carriers a unique suite of technology-enabled solutions covering all aspects of FMCSA and DOT testing and reporting, and the ability to manage their screening programs, helps our customers get drivers on the road as quickly as possible.”

The FleetDrive 360 automated compliance solution can be accessed on any computer or mobile device for what the company describes as a low cost per driver. The system also enables API connections for integration with existing Transportation Management Systems and HR platforms, FleetDrive 360 notes.
