Noregon released its DLA+ 3.0 Vehicle Interface Adapter, which the company says is compatible with all major OE diagnostic applications and aftermarket tools such as JPRO Professional. According to Noregon, the DLA+ 3.0 adapter supports on-highway vehicles and off-highway equipment, allowing companies to standardize their diagnostic hardware across their entire fleet. Noregon adds that the DLA+ 3.0 features many upgrades and enhancements to its predecessor, the DLA+ 2.0.
“Our new adapter features an improved microprocessor, which improves its overall speed and enhances programming capabilities,” said Dr. Jessica O’Sullivan, vice president of product management at Noregon. “We also added Smart Cable technology that auto-detects what type of cable is plugged into the adapter.”
Additionally, Noregon says the adapter incorporates the latest protocols and technologies, including upcoming CAN FD and DoIP integrations.
“We developed the DLA+ 3.0 so our customers could securely and reliably connect to all heavy-duty vehicles and equipment,” said O’Sullivan. “Due to upcoming innovations – such as the implementation of CAN FD protocols – we recognized the need to future proof the DLA+ 3.0 while maintaining backwards compatibility for older fleet assets.”
The DLA+ 3.0 adapter is now available for purchase as a standalone option, or available in a variety of kits paired with a Panasonic Toughbook and Noregon solutions including JPRO, NextStep Repair, and Technician as a Service (TaaS).
