Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Skycharger partner on EV charging funding for fuel retailers, fleets

The aim is to provide fuel retailers and fleets with new financing and service options for EV charging infrastructure.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Skycharger announced that they are partnering on a new venture called the EVerse Fully Hosted program, the aim of which is to provide fuel retailers and fleets with new financing and service options for EV charging infrastructure. 

The companies say that this program is aimed at filling the gaps not filled by federal government funding, offering site hosts a path to acquiring, deploying and maintaining EV charging infrastructure provided by Gilbarco Veeder-Root with no cost to them. Additionally, Skycharger will deploy a white-labeled version of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s EVerse EV charging managed service, the press release notes.
