The Holland Group Inc. announced the release of its Integrated Low-Weight Slider (ILS) system, designed to reduce the weight oftraditional fifth wheel/slider combos by up to 27 percent (151 pounds).
The ILS is compatible with the Holland FW35, FW31 and FW17 fifth wheel models and is available in 7-, 8-, and 9-inch mounting heights and travel lengths of 12, 24, 36 and 48 inches.
Holland sliding fifth wheels provide the capability to transfer weight between tractor axles, accommodate trailers with different kingpin settings and vary vehicle combination lengths, according to the company. they are designed to offer maximum equipment flexibility, improved maneuverability and ride comfort.
