Every Rotary Lift vehicle lift model currently certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) has been recertified to meet the newest ANSI standard covering lift design, construction and testing in North America (ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2011). The new standard updates ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2006. In order to be ALI Certified, lifts must be tested by an independent lab to verify that they meet the new standards. The lift manufacturer also must meet production and quality requirements. As part of the standard update process, all lift manufacturers with certified lifts were required to re-evaluate listed products to confirm that they meet the new requirements.
Rotary Lift products that have been recertified include light-duty two-post, four-post, inground SmartLift, alignment, low-rise, mid-rise, and Y-Lift models. Heavy-duty lifts that received recertification include the MOD30 inground lift, the Mach family of mobile column lifts, two-post and four-post models, the EFX60 inground scissor lift and the parallelogram lift.
