Karcher, a manufacturer of pressure washers, introduced a new line of self-contained, skid-mounted, electric-powered and diesel-heated hot-water pressure washers as part of its Liberty Series.

According to the company, there are five models with cleaning power ranging from 4.2 to 4.8 gallons per minute and 2,000 to 3,000 pounds per square inch of pressure. All five are encased in a rugged, steel cage made of 1-1/4-inch steel tubing and painted with an epoxy powder coat finish for all-weather protection, the company said.

These skid units are powered by an industrial-grade motor and have a variety of electrical configurations, including 230V and 460V both single and triple phase. All feature a belt-drive, crankcase Karcher high-pressure pump with five-year warranty. Both the motor and pump are isolated from the rest of the machine on a shock-mounted sub-frame to reduce vibration, the company said.

Other features of this line include a cold-rolled, Schedule 80, heating coil made of half-inch steel pipe and protected by an insulated, stainless steel wrap; spring-loaded, insulated trigger gun with insulated wand; high-pressure detergent injection system; 50 feet of wire-braid hose rated for up to 4500 PSI; operating instructions in English, Spanish and French for owner liability protection; ETL certified to both UL and CSA safety standards; and nine-gallon rust-free, polyethylene fuel tank for hours of uninterrupted cleaning, the company said.
