A 3-foot by 16-foot plexiglass window on the 80-foot box offers visitors an opportunity to see the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree at each tour stop. Visitors can peer inside to see part of the 74-foot Lutz spruce from the Chugach National Forest lit up and decorated.

The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree hauled by a Kenworth T680 76-inch mid-roof sleeper leaves Seattle for its next stops in Spokane, Wash., and Missoula and Bozeman, Mont. The 2015 Capitol Christmas Tree Tour includes more than a dozen stops in the Lower 48 States before the lighting ceremony in Washington, D.C.
