The company released six new digital automotive multimeters, from the 3907 Probe Multimeter, which is small enough to fit into a pocket, to the 750 Series Automotive Multimeter, which performs numerous automotive-specific tests and is compatible with hybrid vehicle systems. The company also offers a dedicated Hybrid Multimeter, the 3990, a full function meter that includes an insulation test feature.
OTC teams up with Best Buy to offer WiFi connectivity
OTC is offering free in-shop WiFi installation with the purchase of new PegisysCONNECT Wireless Solutions. The service includes a wireless router, on-site installation – including firewall – and assistance in configuring a shop’s diagnostic handset/VCI to the wireless network to create a secure, reliable wireless network within the shop’s service area.
OTC introduces trilingual OBDII, CAN ABS scan tool
The new OTC 3111 offers a trilingual menu with access to LIVE Data in English, Spanish and French. It allows the user to view vehicle sensor, switch and relay inputs in real time, while the engine is running, as well as offering ABS code/erase capability for most 1996 and newer GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles.
