OTC unveils trilingual OBD II and CAN Scan Tool
OTC’s new 3109 Scan Tool delivers LIVE Data in English, Spanish, and French. Compatible with all 1996 and newer vehicles, it reads more than 15,000 generic and manufacturer-specific code definitions. The intuitive menu makes it possible to display generic and enhanced definitions on screen, display freeze frame data at the time of the fault, as well as read and display all 9 modes of OBD II engine data.
OTC introduces new PocketScan code reader
OTC said its new PocketScan Code Reader automatically reads DTCs when connected to the vehicle for faster diagnosis. Because it is the size of an average business card, the reader is ideal for tow trucks and off-the-road service vehicles as well as home use. The PocketScan Code Reader is compatible with 1996 and newer vehicles, and also provides Freeze Frame, VIN information, and performs the important task of inspection and maintenance (I/M) readiness testing by displaying the I/M readiness monitor status.
OTC introduces new professional master fuel injection kit
OTC said its new professional master fuel injection kit is a full coverage tool set that was developed to accommodate nearly every fuel injection system application on most domestic and foreign engine platforms from 1988 to the present. The kit includes an application guide and comes in a blow-molded case with a removable lid for convenient storage and easy access to components.
OTC introduces two new GripLock pullers
OTC, an SPX brand, extended its tool lineup with the release of the 2-Ton (P/N 464) and 5-Ton (P/N 465) GripLock Pullers. OTC offers TPM electronic torque wrench
OTC, an SPX brand, has introduced its new TPM Electronic Torque Wrench (P/N 3833-25). This torque wrench was designed specifically for use on TPM sensor nuts and will cover torque requirements from 10 to 120 in.-lbs., eliminating the need for multiple wrenches. Current TPM sensor nut torque requirements range from 12 to 106 in.-lbs. and conventional torque wrenches do not cover this range in a single wrench.

The new 3176 tool is fully controlled by an internal microprocessor unit that offers reliable battery detection and automatic charge management, the manufacturer added.
