Peterson Manufacturing said it has extended its new Piranha brand 4-in. round LED Stop/Turn/Tail lights with the addition of the 817-3 grommet-mount and 818-3 flange-mount models. Thanks to cutting-edge production technology, the precision process of integrating AMP-compatible connectors is fully automated — allowing significant time/cost savings, the maker said. Both models contain seven diodes and are designed with an operating range of 9-16 volts. They feature skirted weld joints for added protection against moisture and meet FMVSS 108 requirements. Top positioning is not required. The grommet versions use 426-18 rubber grommets. The lights are backed with a five-year Piranha warranty.
