PlastiKote’s recently introduced Hi-Temp Paint is ideal for painting areas on vehicles that are subject to extreme heat conditions.
“PlastiKote Hi-Temp Paint is formulated to resist intermittent temperatures up to 1,300 degrees and is the right paint choice for engines, exhaust manifolds and headers,” said Katie Whiting, product manager, aerosols for Valspar. “Formulated to provide a hard and lasting finish, PlastiKote Hi-Temp paint will deliver solid protection for many years to come.”
Once properly cured, PlastiKote Hi-Temp paint forms a hard, lasting finish that resists salt spray and will not chip or peel, said the company. Once applied, it dries in 60 minutes, protecting surfaces that are exposed to very high heat. PlastiKote Hi-Temp Paint is available in seven colors: black, white, red, aluminum, orange, blue and cast grey.
