Truck-Lite 99 Series wiring harness now standard on East flatbed trailers

East Manufacturing has announced that the Truck-Lite 99 Series wiring harness will be standard on all new East BST, BST II, MMX and Narrow Neck flatbed trailers, starting Feb. 1.

The Truck-Lite 99 Series has been designed as a closed system by integrating a molded plug with two sealing surfaces, rather than just one. This new two-seal plug keeps moisture and debris out of the plug, guarding against corrosion, the company said. The 99 Series uses a clamp, also serving as the mounting bracket that wraps around the width of the plug to ensure that the connection is secure. Truck-Lite also uses a trapezoid-shaped connection, which the company says improves ease of installation.
