Strick Trailers LLC announces the expansion of its Monroe, Ind., manufacturing facility by adding a 44,000 sq. ft. production line dedicated to focusing on the unique characteristics of its custom trailer business. The company says that this addition will increase flexibility and manufacturing capabilities to more efficiently respond to specific customer needs integrating unparalleled innovation, and will add more than 30 new jobs.
“This expansion gives us the flexibility to build low volume, specialized trailers with shorter lead times,” says Jim Gazdick, Strick’s vice president of operations. “By shifting the production of our more customized, special order trailers from our main production line to the new line, we have increased our overall production capacity by 25%.”
With the second line in operation, Strick says that can focus on specialized, customized products that demand specific requirements which many larger trailer manufacturers turn down.
