Peterbilt Technician Institute adds Pennsylvania location

The Peterbilt Technician Institute (PTI) has expanded with a third location in Exton, Penn. PTI graduates approximately 100 students per year and places them into service technician careers throughout the Peterbilt dealer network. The Exton, Penn., school is located approximately 30 miles west of Philadelphia. The other PTI locations are in Dallas, Texas and Lisle, Ill. The inaugural 12-week PTI program at Exton began March 21. PTI features classroom and hands-on instruction of vehicle and engine diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, also covering workplace topics such as customer service, dealership shop operations and laws and regulations. Upon graduation, students begin working in Peterbilt dealerships as service technicians.

“The Peterbilt Technician Institute is a great success for Peterbilt, our dealers and the many graduates beginning service technician careers,” said Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President Darrin Siver. “PTI continues to grow and we’re excited to add an additional location to help Peterbilt service departments provide unparalleled customer satisfaction with skilled, trained and certified technicians.”
