Transport Canada’s website certified apollo ELD by assured Techmatics as an ELD solution on Sept. 1. The certification was granted in late August through the accredited body Commercial Driver Technology Inc., becoming the first U.S. ELD provider and third ELD solution compliant with the Canadian ELD Mandate.

“The certification process was very well organized using Agile methodology, which provided the necessary flexibility to address nonconformities and release fixes in less than 24 hours,” said Aurelio Espantoso, assured Techmatics’ technology director. “As expected on this type of projects, law interpretation is one of the biggest challenges, but we are very pleased with ComDriverTech’s excellent communication and great help.”
