Noregon revamps JPRO certification program

Noregon has revamped its JPRO Certification program. The program is used to train and certify users on JPRO, the company’s in-shop diagnostic and troubleshooting application. To date, more than 5,000 technicians, students and industry professionals have enrolled in the program, the company noted.

The JPRO Certification program features thirteen different learning modules, each focused on a major aspect of diagnostics. Optional quizzes are available at the end of each module to prepare users for the required final. Users who pass the final exam earn a three-year certification distinction and are awarded a diploma and patches to apply to their work attire.

A major upgrade in this release includes video training materials for each module. “Many technicians are hands-on, visual learners,” said Jason Hedman, JPRO Product Manager for Noregon. “Based on user feedback, we invested in the creation of a video-based learning format to best meet the needs of our JPRO Certification students.”

Additionally, all content–including quizzes and exams–was refreshed to ensure students learn about the most current equipment, technology, and best practices.

JPRO Certification is available to anybody who wishes to become more proficient on the industry-leading tool. Students at member schools of Noregon’s Education Program each receive a free certification in addition to their free software. These offerings help them enter their career ready to perform at the high levels demanded of them and help bridge the technician skills gap.
